Exercise

Your body needs exercises!  It does your body good and your heart loves it.  We need to have a healthy body.  We need to eat healthy.  I like to count calories.  If I want a candy bar, I add the calorie count into my daily total.

You can exercise while you are watching television.  You can lift your legs up and down, do them side to side and pedal like a bicycle.  Use cans of fruit or vegetables and do arm exercises.  Walk around your house and just get your body moving!  You need to burn that fat off!  If you eat more than you burn up, you will gain weight.

Swimming is a good exercise.  It takes the weight of your joints.

The best thing to do for your body is to push back from the table.  Eat smaller portions.  Drink water and keep your body hydrated.

Always consult your doctor when you start a weight loss program.  Find out what you should weigh and ask him for a good low calorie diet..

Find out who that person is in the mirror that has lost all that weight!

Fruits and Vegatables are heart healthy!

Healthy eating can be fun!  You can lose weight by counting calories, fat and carbohydrates. You can eat what you want and not feel deprived of food.

Try and eat your evening meal before 7:00 p.m.  You need your food to digest before you go to sleep.  Going to bed on a full stomach can hurt your body.

I love vegetables.  They are heart healthy foods.  Vegetables are low in carbohydrates (sugars) and can be eaten as a large part of your diet.  These contain anti-oxidants that help fight cancer and heart disease.

I love fruits.  I love to make smoothies especially in the evenings.  I eat my main meal around 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m..

Fruits contain fiber.  Fiber is not digested by your body.  Fiber is best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation.  Fiber can also lower your risk for diabetes and heart disease.

Fruits contain natural sugar.  You should eat a fruit with each meal.  Apples, berries, pears and bananas are good sources of fiber.

High fiber may help you lose weight.  Enjoy eating fruits and vegetables.
